This true scary story begins with a young girl and her doll. A young pre-teen girl owned a dozen or so porcelain dolls like so many young girls do. She lined them up and decorated her bookshelf with them. She loved those dolls. They were so pretty. One of the dolls however was different and stood out from the rest. This doll always seemed to be looking or even staring at her. It played music and had a wind-up mechanism which would play after the key was turned. Although sometimes, the doll would play its eerie music for no good reason. The little girl just thought that it still was partially wound up and thats why it may start playing fro no reason. Her great grandmother, who was now dead, gave her the doll. The little girl asked her many times where the doll came from but the great grandmother always refused to tell her. It was like she was hiding something from her and did not want her to know.
One time, the girl had a friend over for a sleep over. Her friend began to twist and squirm during the night and kept muttering in her sleep about domething staring at her. she awoke screaming for help and terrified. The girl couldn’t scream or even move paralyzed momentarily with fear. She was able to look up to the bookshelf and there was that same doll looking down at her. When she was able to move again she grabbed the doll and threw it into the closet and shut the door. The friend was still terrified.
Both girls froze when the music began to play its creepy tune from inside the closet. Needless to say her friend never returned for another sleepover.
The girl could not bring herself to get rid of the doll completely because it was from her great grandmother who is now gone. So she decided to wrap the doll up in some plastic and stored it in the basement. She says she still has nightmares about that doll but even worse, she is afraid that one night she may wake up in the middle of sleeping to look upon that bookshelf and see those beedy eyes from that doll looking back down at her right before the music begins to play.
