My Mom Just Laughed
I have experienced many paranormal events in my lifetime. This one though was one of the scariest times.
I was all alone in the house, my mother worked through the night most nights. It was summer and I was listening to music with my headphones on. I began to hear weird noises, like scratching and howling. I took my headphones off and listened. It seemed like these noises were coming from inside the house. My door was closed so I put my ear up against it to hear better. I was totally shocked at what I heard next. Something very large was running straight at my door very fast. I locked it and jumped into my bed. I truly thought something was going to bust the door down and rush into my room. Nothing happened.
When I finally regained my courage I looked around and found nothing in the house. I decided to get on the computer when I heard loud banging on the front door. The door was being pulled and turned like someone was desperately trying to enter the house. When I looked out the window, no one was there.
I turned on all the lights and did not sleep at all. Nothing else happened. I told my mom the next day and she didn’t believe me. She just laughed at me. The more I tried to explain what happened, the harder she laughed.
